Guisborough firm on course for bumper year.
A Guisborough civil engineering firm has welcomed a new addition to its family of JCB diggers!
The next generation JCB mini excavator is the first of its kind in the north-east. The slimline digger is part of a £100,000 investment by family firm Henderson Campbell and brings the total number of diggers owned by the company to 10.
Launched at this year’s Great Yorkshire Show, the 8030 zero tail swing model purchased by Henderson Campbell was the first off the production line by TC Harrison JCB of Sedgefield, assisted by sales executive Tim Wilson, and was developed using the latest technology.
Antony Henderson, managing director of Henderson Campbell says that the cutting edge design of the new digger offers many benefits and represents a large investment for the firm.
“Its unique design – the rear of the machine is the same width as the tracks - means greater safety on site, which is a priority for Henderson Campbell,” said Antony.
“With a smoother control system and one of the most powerful engines in its class, the digger is now the most efficient and productive machine in the Henderson Campbell line. This is a real boost for the company.”
He added: “This will have a real impact on the business by allowing the company to meet even tighter deadlines and reducing overall costs, which is a benefit we can pass on to our clients.”
As well as purchasing the mini excavator, Henderson Campbell has also invested in additional machinery and vehicles totalling £75,000, which will boost the company’s plans to turnover between £10 million and £12 million this year.
